
This is a calendar reminder. Schools will be closed Monday-Friday, April 1-5, 2024 for Spring Break. We hope you have a wonderful and safe time off.

During last night’s Special Called Meeting, the board voted unanimously to change the last day of school. Students’ last day of school is now Thursday, May 30; the last day for staff is Friday, May 31. Graduation remains on Saturday, June 1.

NCPS is now enrolling in Summer School for July 2024. Please reach out to your child's school for more information.


The next solar eclipse will occur on Monday, April 8, between 2 – 4:30 p.m. Please refer to the image for more details.

Notice: Pre-K and Kindergarten registration for Crewe Primary and Blackstone Primary Schools is March 13th and 14th from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. each day. Students must be 4 years old for Pre-K and 5 years old for Kindergarten by September 30, 2024. Registration forms are available online and at the school.

NCPS began notification letters and postcards to our families regarding attendance. Our goal is to keep families informed of their child's excused and unexcused attendance at school. Messages will routinely be sent. If you have any questions, please contact your child's principal. Every Child, Every Day!
