Summer School is scheduled for July 8th- 18th (Monday- Thursday). Please reach out to your principal for more information.
Good afternoon Cougar Community. It is hard to believe, but Thursday, May 30th is the last school day for students. We hope all have an enjoyable and relaxing summer. We look forward to seeing you again in August.
NCPS will begin device collection next week: NHS- May 23rd & 24th, NIS- May 28th, and NMS- May 29th. Seniors- you are not allowed to participate in any graduation activities until the device is returned or payment is received for the cost of the device. This includes participating in commencement.
Please be reminded that student medications must be picked up before the last day of school. All meds that are not picked up will be destroyed on May 30th. If you have any questions, please get in touch with your child’s school nurse.
If you haven’t joined Rooms, our family-teacher communication tool, sign up before the school year ends! Once you are enrolled, you won’t have to sign up again when the new school year begins! This is to notify parents that there was a fire in a classroom at Nottoway Middle School. The fire was contained to one classroom and caused by a cell phone and charger. The fire was extinguished. Students at Nottoway Middle School were safely evacuated and the fire department has been contacted.

This is a calendar reminder. Schools will be closed Monday-Friday, April 1-5, 2024 for Spring Break. We hope you have a wonderful and safe time off.

During last night’s Special Called Meeting, the board voted unanimously to change the last day of school. Students’ last day of school is now Thursday, May 30; the last day for staff is Friday, May 31. Graduation remains on Saturday, June 1.
