Monthly Meeting Notice
NOTTOWAY COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD

The regular monthly meeting of the Nottoway County School Board will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. in the Nottoway High School Mini Auditorium, 5267 Old Nottoway Road, Crewe, VA. Any person wanting to comment during the meeting must register by 7:00 p.m. before the meeting with the clerk. Persons making comments will be given five minutes to address Board member(s) present. It is recommended that any person making comments bring copies of any remarks, and provide them to the clerk, Mrs. Charlotte Wood, during registration.

The Nottoway County School Board will hold Budget Public Hearing #1 for community input at the regular School Board meeting on January 9, 2025 at 7:00p.m. in the Nottoway High School Mini Auditorium. Any person wanting to comment during the hearing must register with the Board Clerk prior to the meeting. Persons making comments will be given five minutes to address Board member(s) present. It is recommended that any person making comments bring copies of any remarks and provide them to the Clerk.

The Nottoway County School Board will hold a Budget Work Session on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 6 p.m. at Nottoway County School Board Office located at 10321 E. Colonial Trail Hwy., Crewe, VA.

Meet The Board
The Nottoway County School Board is responsible for governing the school division for the public. The School Board determines school division policy and employs the Superintendent to implement division policy. The Superintendent, administrative staff and teachers are responsible for the day-to-day operations. The School Board has its regular meetings at 7:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. Special meetings are scheduled for action or discussion on matters that cannot wait until the next regular meeting.
