Dear parents or guardians,
Nottoway County Public Schools Food Service Department is operated under the federally funded School Nutrition
Program. Nutrition is an important part of the education process. Studies show that well-nourished students are better prepared to learn. We are committed to making nutritious meals available to every school child in Nottoway County and educating children to make healthful choices that will enhance their academic and physical performances.
Elementary students may purchase breakfast for $.85 and lunch for $1.35. Intermediate school students may purchase breakfast for $.85 and lunch for $1.40. High and middle school students may purchase breakfast for $.85 and lunch for $1.50. Reduced prices are $.30 for breakfast and $.40 for lunch at all schools. Adults/teachers may purchase breakfast for $1.35 and lunch for $2.60.
To apply for free or reduced meals, please return only one family application for each household to the school of your choice. Incomplete applications will be returned.
Questions or concerns specific to a particular school can be directed to that school’s Food Service Manager and general questions can be directed to me at Central Office.
Sincerely,
Sheri Dalton
Food Service Supervisor
