Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebration 2009
Dr. Seuss's birthday was on March 3rd, but due to a big snow storm we
had the celebration on March 10th. We all had a great day!

3rd Grade Agriculture Day April 8, 2009 The 3rd graders were
invited to go to the Virginia Tech Research Station to learn about
agriculture. Nottoway's FAA Agriculture class and many others helped
educate the students on the importance of nature and the world we live
in.

April 22, 2009~Earth Day Fair
The Green Team sponsored a day of environment education. We had folks
from Piedmont Geriatric Hospital, Piedmont Water and Soil Conservation,
The Forestry Department, Fort Pickett, Nottoway County Extension office,
The Girl Scouts and Nottoway County Employee Dale Hinton.
