Here at BPS we try to motivate students by incentives. Each six week period the students are given a certain point goal to reach. The goal much be achieved with an 85% correct average. Once this goal is reached the student is encouraged to continue reading. At the end of the grading period there will be a special party or event.

 

3rd Six Weeks Goal Event

(Nov.11, 2009-Jan.7, 2010)

"Dessert A-La-Carte'"

 (Goal=Teachers have set goals)

  • Children earning their goal for this six weeks will be treated to a delicious dessert prepared by our own teachers.
     

  • The students who earn this treat will also be sitting at tables just for them. They will be decorated with table clothes and balloons.
     

  • Students will also be able to enter a guess into the Time Capsule. for the amount of points Mrs. Horn will receive on her Read-up report at the end of the year, and give us suggestions to what her principal's challenge might be.
